50th Annual World Agricultural Expo
The 50th Annual World Agricultural Expo kicked happened last month in Tulare. The nation’s top agricultural county is host to one of the world’s largest agricultural expo. The annual event began at the Tulare County Fairgrounds as a way to help the chamber of commerce and has grown exponentially over the years. The expo boasts two and a half million square-feet of exhibit space for people to come and see the latest technology in agriculture. More than 106,000 people are expected to attend this year. Jerry Sinift, CEO of International-AgriCenter, claims:
It is a $1.2 billion economic impact to this community that is felt from Bakersfield to Fresno… from Lemoore to Exeter, so it’s an incredible thing to happen.
There is also a wait list of over 200 companies that are trying to gain a spot at the expo. Plan a trip down next year to see all the new and exciting things.
