Beloved Fresno Business Forced to Close because of High-Speed Rail
A local business named Tac-Ops, in northwest Fresno, was forced to close due to the incoming high-speed rail. The business was a 10,000 square foot warehouse where laser tag was played and it had only been open for four years. The community loved the place, especially children, because it gave them something to do on their spare time. Tac-Ops Manager, Christopher Livermore, stated:
I think for me the saddest part is the kids won’t have a place where they can be free and have fun for a reasonable price.
The owner had a stroke a couple years ago and with the construction of the high-speed rail on its way through town, the owner felt that he could no longer keep the business open.
